Firefighters are known for their life-saving efforts, but their impact goes beyond rescuing people from burning buildings.

Last year in Ocala, Florida, a firefighter experienced a life-changing moment during what he thought would be a routine overnight shift. To his surprise, he heard an alarm from the Safe Haven Baby Box and found a newborn baby girl wrapped in a pink blanket.
